IMPORTANT RECALL NOTICE
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of Comfort-Aire's BHD-301-C Portable Dehumidifier.
Due to a fire hazard specific to the serial number ranges (see list below), consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dehumidifier, call (877) 220-0479 to determine if it is included in the recall and take it to an authorized service center for a free repair.

TAX CREDIT UPDATE
Comfort-Aire’s 9,000 BTUH "V" Series Mini-Split has been approved by Energy Star for the federal tax credit under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009. Individuals can receive a 30% tax credit on the total installation cost of this unit (see your tax professional about how this may apply to your situation). Geothermal Tax Credit
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 includes provisions for tax credits for the installation of geothermal/water source HVAC systems. The bill includes a 30% tax credit with no cap for residential installations which meet Energy Star requirements. Commercial installations also qualify for special tax considerations.
